The Metamorphosis: Unplugged

Two excitable cleaners are tidying up the remains of a children's party when they stumble across a copy of Franz Kafka’s funny and compelling story, The Metamorphosis - the mysterious tale of a man who wakes up one morning to find he’s turned into a giant insect. Intrigued by the opening sentence they begin to reimagine the classic tale for our times, using the story to transform our view of the world.

The Metamorphosis: Unplugged is a warm-hearted, acoustic, cabaret-style retelling of the story, from the team that brought you The Dark Carnival: Unplugged.

Directed by Vanishing Point Associate Director Joanna Bowman and performed by Daisy Ann Fletcher (Cinderfella) and Fiona Wood (The Steamie).
